Το συνέδριο — με τη συμμετοχή του Προέδρου του Ισραήλ Ισαάκ Χέρτζογκ και κορυφαίων παραγόντων της ισραηλινής οικονομίας — θεωρείται κομβικής σημασίας για τη νέα οικονομική στρατηγική Ελλάδας–Ισραήλ.
Ο Υφυπουργός Εξωτερικών θα μιλήσει με θέμα «Οικονομική Διπλωματία και Εξωστρέφεια». Οι ισραηλινές εταιρείες προτιμούν την Ελλάδα ως πύλη προς τον ευρωπαϊκό χώρο, ενώ δεν αποκλείεται η επίτευξη σημαντικών επιχειρηματικών συμφωνιών. Η Ελληνική Αποστολή θα επισκεφθεί βιομηχανικές εγκαταστάσεις όπως τα Israel Shipyards και το IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries). Οι εργασίες θα ολοκληρωθούν με δεξίωση στην κατοικία της Ελληνίδας Πρέσβεως στο Ισραήλ, κας Μάγιας Σολωμού.
PRESS RELEASE Athens, October 2025 The Hellenic–Moldovan Association at the Maritime Med II Conference 2025 in Tel Aviv The President of the Hellenic–Moldovan Association, Mr. Ioannis Fotiadis, and the Association’s Vice President, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Thessaloniki and partner at the law firm www.palazis-mangola.gr, attorney Mr. George Palazis, are traveling to Tel Aviv, Israel, as part of the Greek Delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Haris Theocharis, to attend the Maritime Med II Conference 2025. The conference — attended by the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, and leading figures of the Israeli economy — is considered a milestone for the new Greece–Israel economic strategy. Deputy Minister Theocharis will deliver a keynote speech on “Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion.” Israeli companies increasingly choose Greece as their gateway to the European market, and new business deals are anticipated. The Greek delegation will visit major industrial facilities such as Israel Shipyards and IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries). The mission will conclude with a reception at the residence of the Ambassador of Greece to Israel, Mrs. Maya Solomou.
